Standards, concepts, and processes required for quality and safety in family-centered nursing are emphasized clinical practice. The lab and clinical practice components provide opportunities for development of the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for competence and accountability in the delivery of health care in family-centered nursing. Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of NURS 122 or 132 with grade C or better; concurrent enrollment in or successful completion of NURS 221, NURS 222, and Humanities elective requirement (ENGL 201 or ENGL 202 or ENGL 203 or ENGL 204 or ENGL 205 or ENGL 206 or ENGL 207 or ENGL 208 or ENGL 211 or ENGL 215 or HIST 102 or HIST 102 or HIST 201 or HIST 202 or HIST 201 or HIST 213) with a grade of C or better.
