EMSE 2120 - Field Internship I

The purpose of this course is to expose the student to a variety of patient care settings. Adhering to the National Emergency Medical Code of Ethics while providing advanced treatment under the guidance of a qualified preceptor, the student will have the opportunity to practice and reinforce terminal competency requirements within the paramedic scope of Practice l earned in the classroom and from lab experiences. In this course, students will function as a member of a team, following the guidance of the team leader on a field EMS unit
