ARTS 204 - Wheelthrown Ceramics This is an introduction to the tools and techniques used when creating forms on a potter’s wheel. Students will gain knowledge pertaining to characteristics of clay, throwing techniques, the application of ceramic glazes, firing procedures, and appropriate terminology. This course will also include an introduction to a variety of ceramic artists and styles intended to encourage and inspire.
