CINS 206 - Intro to Internet Technologies

This course presents the applications and technologies of the Internet. The student examines the history, current issues and functions of the Internet. Will also examine and use Internet technologies including Web browsers, XHTML, HTML5, CSS, and Java TM applets. The student will explore strategies for successful Web site development and apply the basics of Web page design. The student will also explore Web site promotion and e-commerce. Prerequisite(s): Completion of CINS 101 with “C” or better.
