CHEM 223 - Organic Chemistry I Lab Introduces fundamental principles and theories of organic chemistry and representative classes of organic compounds. Includes basic organic laboratory techniques, including note keeping, filtration, recrystallization, extractions, distillation methods, spectroscopic and chromatographic methods, chemical searches, and report writing. Designed for science majors and students in nursing, health science, and engineering. Prerequisite(s): Completion of or concurrent enrollment in CHEM 221 Organic Chemistry I Lab w/”C” or better.
