AGSC 205 - Soil Science This course is designed to introduce fundamental concepts of soil science and lead to the development of your understanding of the properties and processes that are basic to the use and management of soils. As soils gain recognition as important ecological systems upon which life on Earth is highly dependent, the ability to understand and appreciate the soil resource and soil-plant relationships will provide a better agricultural/ environmental scientist and allow for better decisions regarding the use and management of land. Prerequisite(s): ACT math subscore of 19 or higher
SAT math subscore of 470 or higher
Accuplacer QRAS math supscore of 250 or higher
OR
Completion of MATH 110
ACT English subscore of 18 or higher
SAT ERW subscore of 500 or higher
