YPRO 7040 - Intro to Power Industry

This course is for those entering the electrical energy production and distribution field. It describes the many ways in which electricity can be produced, from burning fossil fuels such as coal and natural gas, to harnessing nuclear energy, and using renewable energy sources such as wind, geothermal, and solar energy. This course explains energy and distribution and transmission and briefly explores the economics involved in energy production and delivery.
