YHET 2040 - Dementia Capable Care Training

This course equips care partners with the skills and knowledge to provide high-quality, person-centered care for individuals living with dementia. Using the CPI Dementia Capable Care Model, participants will explore dementia stages, behavior management techniques, and communication strategies to promote a person’s best ability to function. Incorporating the Allen Cognitive Levels and Crisis Development Model, the training empowers learners to prevent, de-escalate, and address distress behaviors effectively.
