YHET 1102 - Environmental Technician

The Environmental Technician Program has been developed to address infectious disease management by frontline workers. Information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and various other healthcare industry resources were used to create curriculum. Learners will receive a survey of HIPPA, communication, organization structure, infection prevention, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and OSHA standards. At the end of the course students should be equipped to handle current and future health crises in facility sanitation. The course will be offered in a hybrid learning model.
