PHAR 1002 - Pharmacy Practice This course for the pharmacy technician student provides instruction on federal law and regulation of pharmacy practice, routes of drug administration and dosage formulations, pharmacy measurements and calculations, community pharmacy dispensing, healthcare and prescription drug insurance, the business of community pharmacy, extemporaneous, nonsterile compounding, hospital pharmacy dispensing, and medication safety. Prerequisite(s): Enrollment in or completion of, all program qualification courses: ALHT 1009 , ALHT 1016 , HSCI 110 , BIOL 110 , BIOL 111 . Co-requisite(s): Enrollment in or completion of PHAR 1001 , PHAR 1003 , and PHAR 1004 .
