MCS 102 - Basic Medical Coding

MCS 102 will aid the student in developing an understanding of the coding rules for ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-CM coding and classification systems in order to assign valid diagnostic and/or procedure codes. Prerequisite(s): Concurrent enrollment in or completion of HSCI 110 and either MCS 101 or HIM 101 with “C” or better.
