MATH 210 - Introduction to Statistics This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of descriptive and inferential statistics with a pronounced emphasis on inference. The major topics include methods for analyzing sets of data, probability, probability distributions, estimation, confidence intervals, hypotheses testing, simple linear regression, correlation and non-parametric statistics. Prerequisite(s): A grade of “C” or higher in MATH 105 or MATH 110 .
