This course covers the concepts of automatic process control.
Process characteristics and control applications will be presented , along with
annunciator/shutdown systems and the concepts of Proportional, Integral, and
Derivative control modes, loop tuning, and documentation.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of INST 1030 with a grade of “C” or better.
Successful completion in INST 1530 with a grade of “C” or better or concurrent
enrooment in INST 1530.
